The crazy idea:

• The vertical fading characteristic of slub denim is also known as Tate-Ochi, or “vertical falls”, in Japanese.
• Illustration of a waterfall (a reference to the vertical falls), then label the patch スラブ
• IRONHEART at the top but intertwined in the scene

Also about the patch as seen in the photo,
they fully sew, is that the plan so the belt go over the patch.

The 5 core cuts will be Fall/Winter I would guess….

The one a couple of posts up will be sooner than that.  But I can't tell you anything about that jean yet.

The patch will be sewn on all 4 sides as per 17oz and 14oz jeans.  H feels that the lighter weight leather we use on those jeans is more appropriate for the lighter weight denims....

It's a one-off.  Look at the pocket shape, these are not a normal IH jean…

Yea these look really cool, I know they're not a straight reproduction of anything but that rounded pocket makes them look like something that might be worn in a sepia photo.  The chances of this being in a silhouette that works for me are somewhere between slim and none, but these are on my radar.
