IHSH-283-WHT - 5oz Boss Check Button Down Shirt - White

Just got mine in the mail and the fabric is amazing. It has a very tiny amount of loom chatter that I imagine will be even more pronounced after washing and it feels like quality stuff. It’s nice and light (for IH) and I imagine it should be pretty breathable in the summer. I know the color combo is a bit polarizing for some folks but I like it quite a lot.
The cut looks pretty good on me, kind of a hybrid work/ casual shirt but it is too short for tucking in and a little less tapered than I prefer in a shirt of this style. I wouldnt mind more of this type of shirt from IH but for us taller, slimmer guys the pattern needs some tweaking.

@Anesthetist that looks great on you, though it's cut different than your other tops. The way it sits on you it's like Haraki designed it to stay a bit open on the bottom to let air flow through in the warmer months. I hope it stays in a heavy rotation for you over the summer.

Thank you gents, the fit is growing on me for sure. I think it will look really good with pretty much any color of shorts.

We are going to run this pattern in a white and a blue chambray. Haraki showed us the swatches on Zoom this morning and is sending them over for me and @Alex to choose which we like.
Alex and I will sit down later this week and work out how we tweak the length to make it better for the tucker-inners…..

@Alex Thanks... Fair enough! Its nice to have a mixture for different aspects - a workshirt or western is fine for the WFH zoom calls but too casual for the days in the office so the an Oxford shape like 283 does a completely job without being a boring formal shirt (Tyrwritt / Pink / etc etc). Also good for the summer casually.
