Matt's New Mexico (Formerly Airstream) Adventure

While today isn’t officially the end, it is the beginning of the end.  Last night we spent our last night in The Tin Palace and today at 10 we close on the new house.  Katie got her first shot yesterday which is exciting and I’m set for 4/12, the day before my 30 hour solo drive back to MD to see family and retrieve the rest of our stuff.  We put the Airstream on Facebook the other day and immediately got dozens of offers so we’re working through that.  My plan for this thread is to keep it active until we return from our last planned trip Utah/AZ to see a few more National Parks in late spring early summer.  After that I’ll probably ask the mods to lock it up or whatever they deem appropriate.  I plan on posting whenever we visit some place cool but I’ll do that in relevant threads either based on what I’m wearing or whatever.

I want to thank everyone who joined us on our adventure.  Being able to share our experience with an online community that I care about rather than with strangers on some other platform was an exciting part of it for me.  I hope we kept it interesting for you and that you had fun traveling with us.  The wanderlust will call on us again though, I’m sure, and a new thread will be born.  Until then everyone be safe and persevere.

Thanks for bring us along with you, the scenic, the highs and the lows. I'm sure the girls will look back on this (as well as yourself/wife) in years time as one of the most amazing experiences.

I wish I could get back some of the stuff I let go to thin the herd prior to the trip.  08,86, 87!, 91, 106, lots of T-shirt’s. 

I let my 68 go because I thought the wabash CPO would be extant.  Sadly that wasn’t the case.  I do have a used 21 on the way so that’s something.
