        @dj:

I have the ihsh-178 but want something in a different colour. Do these type 3 jackets come up a little small? It appears I’d need to go from xxl to xxl.

Type III measurements and shirt measurements are not interchangeable. Example, I take generally XL in shirting and need a p2p of 58cm if I want to wear over and undershirt/tee. I have a type III in XXL with a chest measurement of 57cm that I wear comfortably over UHF’s with a 58cm chest. I have had type III’s with a 56cm chest I can wear comfortably over such shirts too.

Your assumption was correct, hadn't noticed the compare facility, but looks like my switching between screens to check sizing was correct.

Is this jacket cut differently from the other type 3s?  Looking at the size chart, it looks like the chest is really narrow.  I usually wear a M in most IH jackets, except for the 506Lod, I wear a L.  A chest size that is 21.5 is perfect, but it looks like I'd have to get a XXL to get a the right chest size.  Can anybody with this jacket chime in on their sizing experience?

I picked up the first iteration of this jacket and had to size up from a L on most type IIIs to an XL on this, but it seems like this iteration is even slimmer in the chest.

My normal size fit quite a bit more snug than usual. I like it as this one is my snug type III and my others have room for layering.

So i would say size up on this. Unless the size chart has changed the measurements were smaller compared other type III in the ptp and maybe other measurements like check the opening measurements.

The compare feature helps. Trust the numbers. The Crew will check specific measurements if needed and hook you up.

Yeah, it looks like the charts did get updated.  Take a look.

Normally, I take an L, but I had to take an XL with the original iteration of this. If I were to buy it today, I'd have to go with a XXXL to make the chest work, which is bananas!  I don't think I've ever had a XXXL anything [emoji23]

Yes Paul9221 I see it now. The ptp measurements were smaller than usual before and are even more so now.

Not intentionally, but that is why we publish individual sizing charts.  Trust the measurements….

It's not the same jacket, but if you're not aware, there's an olive moleskin type III that's going to launch this season.  If I didn't have the 526-ODG, I might hold off for the moleskin 110.

I have been eying this jacket for a long time. With no impending restock, I looked around at the different retailers and found one in my size at RnH.
I'm seriously attracted to anything whipcord, and this jacket is no exception. Superb quality, and the corduroy collar pairs very well with it.
Went with my normal jacket size, which is XXXL. The proportions on this one are indeed a little off - arms slightly longer, chest smaller. But I can get it buttoned up no problem, at least over a t-shirt.

@tody Haraki designs the sleeves to be a little longer than average for riding motorcycles.  As far as I know, it's a trait found on all of his jackets.

Hey all. I want to get this in xxxl despite usually being an xxl/needing 23”+ pit to pit.

If I go xxxl in this, will the sleeves be too baggy?

                                          Thanks!
