Today some of my family got together to start going through my late grandmother's belongings since she died from Covid in December. She had thousands of photos and we're trying to scan them all and upload them to the cloud for all of our family to see since only us vaccinated folks were able to meet up because most of my family is spread out all over the country.

One of the coolest parts about looking through these old photos is studying the clothing. Check out this wild photo of my Grandfather and his killer fit on a hunting trip. There's no date on the photo but my guess is that the photo was taken in the late 50s/early 60s here in Northern Arizona.

Thanks @Filthy. It was sad since we couldn't visit her because she caught the virus in a nursing home. She was 95 though so we had all been slowly trying to prepare ourselves for her death even before the pandemic.

If I come across any more sweet photos featuring denim I'll post them.

@Palmer while the background to your story is a sad one there's some joy here. That picture is wonderful in every way, but the idea that some of your fam can now be together and do this sort of thing because of the vaccine is excellent. Gives me a glimpse of the light at the end of the tunnel. Vaccination is going very slowly here…
