image heavy post to follow; here goes…
wash up brussels sprouts; halve + score at the base
slice up some bacon rashers and dice up half an onion
git that bacon frying for about 5 minutes and then throw in the onion for a further 5
some herbs at this stage go down a treat
quarter cup of chicken stock, two tablespoons of soy and liberal splashes of tabasco
throw the sprouts in and throw em liquids over the top. cover and cook for about 20 mins or until nicely braised
and…. bam
it's officially lunchtime.
ps here are the truffle survivors - down from ~80

So I made the puds - supposed to be Apricot, Honey and Rosemary soufflé. Looks nothing like the photo in the cookbook, not thick and fluffy enough and all the fruit has sunk to the bottom. I think I'm gonna be using the EFF words…

That's smart to wear a matching top to your frosting. Don't even need the apron then…it just blends right in.
(As a red wine drinker I've learned that purple and maroon shirts are my friend).Haha, I thought that was smart colour-coordination too! Must ask Haraki to make more shirts/tees in purple and maroon, just what G needs…
