The blue 216 was pretty trim in my mind. I went with my normal size and it worked out… I can layer with a flannel if need be or just a T. I can’t speak for black, but I bet it’s similar?

Also this stuff is epic, I wear the blue one a lot and really enjoy it. In true IH fashion you can’t go wrong with it

@Drumedge I bought my normal IH shirting size of XL in this one and it fits me spot on (for reference I'm 5'11" and 185 lb). It is a tailored cut so if I was planning to layer over say a UHF I believe I would need to size up to XXL or expect keep it unbuttoned. I'd be happy to try it later and send you a few pics of it layered if you'd like.

second off, it's an amazing fabric and even though it's a CPO, the pocket openings are fairly small and they don't add bulk to the shirt. It will become a fast favorite.

Thank you guys! Does this CPO fit like the IH 177 or IH 178? I own both of those in a medium and they are from the original run on both styles. I can layer with both of those as well. Truthfully though, all of this wouldn't be an issue for myself if Self Edge would measure the IH way

I would say off the top of my head my 178 is bigger than my 216. 178 is from the first run, Also.

That is also guessing that both blue and black are similar sizing….

My IHSH-178 is a Small and I am a Medium in the IHSH-216, have tried both Navy and Black, both M.

Yes, my overdyed CPO was trimmer than my 177 but that was to be expected. So, I boughht a large one as well  and rock both  Now, back to the topic at hand

I wish I had sized up on my tan 216. I can’t snap the bottom closed, much less layer anything significant.

Similar to any of the other IH heavyweight shirts.

There is no loft in the fabric to trap air so don't expect any insulating effect.  Perhaps the dense weave is slightly more windproof than average but I'd be shocked if this is something you could actually notice.

Thank you DrPat. I originally bought the navy/ivory UHF but had to return due to being too small. So, with the store credit, this will be the replacement. It's cold here in Indiana so I just want something warm and that fits
