Happy Thanksgiving to those who celebrate.  I’ll be cooking our turkey by burying it in our fire pit with some coal.  It’s currently thawing in a garbage bag outside…

How's San Angelo?  I haven't been there in forever.

It’s cool. It’s definitely getting more barren as we progress towards Big Bend. There’s an Air Force base across the lake so the sky isn’t as dark as it was at our park in Coleman.  SA the town is a lot bigger too.  We’re knocking out our Xmas shopping now to get out in front since there’s no guarantees once we leave here.  The real challenge is hiding Xmas presents from the kids for the next month.  I may have to bury those too.
