Can anyone tell me why Texas does not allow anyone under 7 to get a flu shot without a prescription but anyone can wear a gun into the Walmart to buy children’s NyQuil for when their kid does get sick?
Also why is the speed limit here 75? On a 2 way two lane road separated only by faded yellow lines and prayer?

You'll be thankful for the 80mph speed limit in West Texas. Well, maybe not since you're pulling a trailer.

Seriously, though- when you're doing 80mph and don't see another car for 45 minutes, it starts to make sense.
(The speed limit question, that is; I've got nothing for you on the first question. That doesn't make a lot of sense to me, either…)

It’s cool. It’s definitely getting more barren as we progress towards Big Bend. There’s an Air Force base across the lake so the sky isn’t as dark as it was at our park in Coleman. SA the town is a lot bigger too. We’re knocking out our Xmas shopping now to get out in front since there’s no guarantees once we leave here. The real challenge is hiding Xmas presents from the kids for the next month. I may have to bury those too.
