Do you think I can get 1.5 inches of stretch eventually from the starting measurement? My waist is 35.5 inches…I fear if I go for the 35 I end up at like a 36.5.
Hi there. Do you mean your actual physical waist is 35.5”? If so try and get yourself a better metric to work with. Physical waist and the actual measurements of your jeans waist band are a poor match. Try measuring a pair of jeans that fit you well and use that as your comparison. Measure them using the same method as IH use. You will find it on a video on the product page in the web shop.
That being said, the tagged W35 starts at 36” according to the charts and will probably end up between 36-36.5” with stretch.

A few rainy day photos of me walking to get beer. These barley fit in the waist now! I have not worn them since April and it bummed me out when I tried them on. I am hoping that I can stretch them out but as you see, they probably already have been. Has anyone else hung up a pair of jeans for a spell only to find those beers made an impact?
I truly hope I can still wear them after the Indigo Invitational. They fit alright and about the same everywhere else. The waist is just a tad tight and I can feel it when I sit down to drive.

1st off @Oaktavia those look fantastic! I hadn’t seen the whole shebang recently. As far as the waist, you probably just have to wear them for a week or two. Stretch em back out, chubby

Hey everyone. I was wondering if anyone knew how much there 555 xhs ib actually shrunk in the inseam after the first wash. I’ve had mine for about 2 months and I really don’t like cuffing them but I left myself about and inch and a half just in case. I don’t plan on washing anytime soon but I would really like to get them hemmed a bit more.

PeaceYou can expect up to one inch of shrinkage in the inseam with a wash.

@Brandon510 Welcome to the forum… if you check out the assorted XHS and XHSib threads you will find a lot of documentation of shrinkage with different washing/soaking regimes. It all comes down to an inch max (often a little less).

It's true… I love the extended fading on the thighs and the vertical patterns. Also they aren't as high contrast as some XHS, but have lovely soft aquatic thing about them. The colour is also most excellent. Mine do not get enough wear and aren't even close to that.

Sup people. Has anyone ever had there selvedge seam gold over @ the knee? I was going to try and iron it flat so it stops annoying me. But I wanna make sure it doesn’t f up my denim. Has anyone ever done this to newish denim?
