I love my IHJ-08 which is the same material. It performs okay to repel a light rain or snow, and if it does happen to get wet, you aren’t going to be cold. Also a genius layering piece under another light jacket.

Believe it or not, this my all-time most useful IH piece.  It is warm, functional, light, can take an absolute beating.  I wear it fishing under my waders when it is cold, I go boat fishing in it, I garden in it and I laboured in it when we built the extension.  But I could pop this in the wash now and it would come out looking brand new - it's amazing…

We do not sell a ton outside of Japan (like most of our technical gear actually).

But I am pretty sure anyone who has had one will say that it is an amazing piece.

It also makes a bloody good pillow when I camp

I would say I'm going to buy one, but it's getting pretty close in price to the N1 I lust after, and i still haven't crossed that off the wish list.

I would love this for a start to winter jacket.
