May not be easily available. He isn’t an IHUK employee but a friend of the brand and sometime model. Doesn’t live in Gosport as far as I know.

Ah gotcha. I usually wear L or XL, usually just go off the measurements of course but I've never tried an IH vest. 23.1 seems pretty big for the chest measurement, so I don't think I'd need to go any bigger than an L. I usually aim for 22 but I don't think I'd want it to be any shorter, plus 23 might be nice for layering. Thinkin' bout it!

Unless you are planning on wearing it over something really big then go L. I have the jacket in XL and take shirts in XL. The jacket goes comfortably over layers. I’d be L in this over a hoodie or shirt.

Thanks, @Alex! That's awesome, he's pretty much my exact measurements, except I'm an inch taller and maybe a little smaller in the chest. Exact same weight. Good reference for the future!

Hey guys. Was there a previous iteration of this vest in black? Or am I imagining things?

Here's the deal, I picked this up last week. I've never worn a vest before. I was thinking that I could use this to prolong denim jacket season. I like it a lot but I'm not sure of the furry collar on me. Looking for some fit pics for inspiration while I decide whether to keep it. (I'm not a fan of the look in the product shots, sorry. Vest over the white thermal isn't doing it for me…)

I'd say it is perfect for slinging over UHF's. I especially like that combo. Weren't you going to wear it over a type III too?
