Thanks all! Sitting on a hard hospital armchair while Mrs H gets 40 winks, holding Baby H while she also snoozes. Feel like I should have something profound to say, but honestly, it’s just incredible how you can feel so strongly about a tiny person who just a few hours ago was still an idea.
Even if judging by her face in that picture I still have some work to do to win her over.

My daughter had a clear preference for mama (which is to be expected) but with time I’ve felt less and less like a “silver medal” as we’ve formed our own bond.
You think you can’t love em any more then prove yourself wrong every day. They become even more endearing as the personality develops.

Yeah. I wouldn’t be too pleased if mine was the first mug I got a good look at either, but like Mrs H said when I got rid of the beard in favour of the moustache, it grows on you… slowly…

I’ll be working on passing a 5mm kidney stone today. Spent yesterday in the er on morphine and tramadol. Good times.

It’s going. I believe it has passed the area that causes the most severe agony and now just needs to leave the building. I think I’m carrying an extra 5-10 lbs of water weight so i feel bloated. I’m just waiting for the meds to get to the end of their effectiveness duration so I can see if it begins to get sore again. Shouldn’t be long now.

️Airport security won't like it. I just wore my 634 25oz on a series of flights and got called out everywhere. When checking me manually they said they can't believe these are 'just jeans'. ??? ::)

I travel in IH constantly. The item that gives me most trouble is the plate buckle (if you’re in a state where big belt buckles aren’t common, it’ll trigger a bag search. I also now pretty much always wear vans sneakers because my Viberg’s always set off the metal detectors. Today I’m rocking double denim with my bibs
