@neph93 do you find you have to supplement vitamin D up there or are you getting so much cold water fish it comes naturally?

In Minneapolis that stuff helped with my seasonal affective disorder in winter. I embrace the cold, but short and overcast days get to me.

I have done. Not every year though. We do eat a lot of fish, so maybe that helps, but vitamin D is a good thing without a doubt. I have a lot more melanin than the average Norwegian too, meaning I definitely should use it more than I do.

I’m on day 8 or 9 of grey/overcast sky’s and am definitely feeling it.  It gets light around 7:20 am and it’s dark at 5:00 pm and quite honestly, I really dislike this time of year…

I find I really have to get out during midday for a walk, run, anything to keep my spirits up…

Once there is snow on the ground I manage to deal a little better due to the reflectivity of the snow, but right now it’s tough.

My hat’s off to Reuben and I don’t think I would be able to handle it…although the summer I don’t think I would sleep.
