@goosehd I thought you would enjoy looking at these pies my mom made for my Aunt and Uncle last night.
Ones a peach and the other is a peanut butter. They were absolutely amazing. I'd offer to mail you one but I don't think it would survive the trip.I got a piece left waiting for when I'm not so nauseous.

Every Sunday I've gotten into the habit of making meat lovers breakfast burritos. I can share a recipe if anyone is interested. This makes about 14 burritos so it's cheaper and better tasting than the frozen ones. And it usually lasts about 4 or 5 days.
I usually fry potatoes but today I had some leftover salsa so I mixed it with rice in the instant pot and made a Spanish rice variation.
It's just fried onions, loose breakfast sausage, low sodium bacon, six eggs, some cheese crumbles and Fritos nacho cheese. I like the jalapeno variety but my mom prefers the plain..

Damn that looks fantastic
Happy Thanksgiving Dennis

I can see if I can get the recipe from mom and send to you you. I'm going to the bar but I'll write you later. Please do enjoy your meal with your family.

I made this "chicken Parm" out of old crap in the freezer. The pasta and sauce was new.
The toast was an old hamburger bun lmao

On night 1 in NOLA, grabbed a cheeseburger and fries from Fat Boy Pantry, a random place in Lower Garden District I hit up after some cocktails at Barrel Proof down the block. Burger was really good (would have been better still with dill than sweet pickles) and the fries were some of the best I’ve ever had, especially when I hit em with some Tony’s.
Next morning I went to Molly’s Rise and Shine by the Turkey & the Wolf people. Still haven’t made it to the latter yet, I just don’t get down here enough these days. I had their riff on an egg McMuffin and my pal had a sausage biscuit. @alex and Keira went to Turkey & the Wolf, and when I bumped into them at Mojo Roasters I told them about the sandwich I just had from their sister restaurant. Ultimately I was uninterested in eating anything else until 12 hours later for dinner. Sausage, hash brown, caramelized onions, some sort of ketchup, American cheese, and I opted for a perfect fried egg.
That was fantastic, but the best bites I had this trip were from a shithole in Gulfport that is counter service, cash only, no inside dining. I couldn’t even eat half of it but really magnificent fried platter.
I’m ready to eat salads for the rest of my life now.

We’ve been eating really well in Mexico City! I still can’t believe it’s been three years since we visited. We had an amazing meal at Corazón del Maguey in Coyoacán, complete with mezcal flights.
We’ve also been getting a lot of amazing home cookin’ as we’re staying with Marcia’s aunt Carmen, who loves to cook and spoil everyone.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
