I have been taking care of my neighbors goat. I'm trying not to get too attached to him because he is supposed to be a sacrifice for my neighbor's newborn son. Makes me kind of sad. But I'm trying to be as nice to him as I can while he is alive.

This morning at the beach Chicken was upset that he was excluded from dinner last night. Said he hoped I would change plans and take him to the brewery tonight and the bbq on saturday. Told him we'll see.

@tody Yes, it is… A necessary lockdown purchase - the IKEA stool I used for most of the year was giving me awful backache!
@Nkwkfld I thought Chicken comported himself admirably at the party, by the way. It would have been very stimulating for such a young 'un, he held it together much better than Sully would have at his age.

Back in June I picked out this cat from the Humane Society. She's about 2 i/2 years old. Was and is a bit skittish but really coming around. Her name was Guinivere, and I kept it, as she answers to it. She had multiple health issues, which she has also overcome.
She likes to watch me on the forum.

I call her my sous chef, when I'm cooking, she sits here watching everything.
