What do you get when you take Charlie Hunter, a guitarist who somehow plays bass, rhythm, and lead guitar simultaneously, Skerik, a tenor saxophonist with insane chops, creativity, and an effect pedal board, and the great Stanton Moore on drums?
Garage a Trois, the original lineup plus Eric Benny Bloom on trumpet. Fantastic. I was completely floored wire to wire. Great opening band too.

This is my album of the year so far. A wonderfully refreshing blend of heavy bass and banjo. Great lead vocalist and unique sound.
"Birdtimes" is my favorite thus far

I don't think there is a dedicated concerts thread. I don't go to many, but a friend invited Allie and I to Heilung last night.
It was a beautiful, enchanting, mind blowing ritual. If you have a chance to see them live, do not miss the opportunity.

Really sad to hear of the unexpected passing of Paul Sartin. Possibly not to everyone’s taste on here, but he contributed to some of my happiest ever evenings.

Me and my uncle are in the crowd somewhere (before I discovered IH, so maybe hard to spot).

Fun to watch Danny Carey's big ass as the focus of a pro-shot, live concern video

Tickets were impossible to get and crazy money in the states. Seen him so many times at this point, and on Broadway. Going to have to miss this one.
Same here… when sale started the computer of the (really big) ticket company broke down... finally snatched tickets with the hospitality package... yep crazy money. But I haven't seen him live before and that is really something I would love to do...
