Well yeah man, the Hell’s Angels weren’t exactly a community service organization.  I’d be shocked if that’s the worst he was guilty of.

The Hells Angels club house was on East 3rd Street in NYC,and it was always said to be the safest block in town. It was around the corner from CBGB,and they would hang out and listen to music from time to time,never bothered anyone,and believe me,no one ever bothered them. Not that this makes the model citizens.

Fascination with outlaws goes hand I hand with much of what we all love here.  Music, bikes, jeans, leather etc.  Tortured soles make the best antiheroes.

Oh I know that @neph93 and I also know not everyone knows what a thug Sonny was, so I shared.

Outlaw is one thing, beating up on vulnerable people quite another. Like I said, I think his rival's story is quite interesting and worth hearing, even if it's "he said/he said."

The HA clubhouse in Minneapolis is a cinderblock fortress. The chapter got in trouble for (get ready to be surprised) trafficking methamphetamine. The West coast chapters were pioneers in manufacturing and trafficking that particular poison, though it seems the Mexican cartels have largely taken over that market.

I admire how they structured the organization to limit liabilities for all the outlaw activities–pretty smart in that regard.

I’ve seen a lot of it.  The last thing I remember is Henry Rollins in the bathroom stall (hopefully that’s vague enough to be spoiler free).  I kind of lost interest.  I do thoroughly enjoy Hunter S Thompson’s HA though.

I had an account hacked and what was really troubling is that they put their name on all my photography. Took me about a month to convince them that I was me, and for them to get me all my photography back.
