@sabergirl Ann, they kind of remind me of IH vintage 18oz in appearance. In your opinion, is there anything IH makes that feels, looks, acts like these jeans?

I love those Sugar Canes with the boro stitching on the back pocket — I've thought many a time about picking some of those but haven't picked any up just bc like most people on here, I'm focused on IH and have way too many pairs of jeans.
That said, I do have a couple pairs of Mister Freedom that use the SC denim and it's pretty fantastic, especially for anyone looking for something a little lighter weight during warmer months. I particularly like the Hawaii denim — not usually a big fan of slubbier stuff but for whatever reason, I can get down with that one.

I'll also add that the texture of @sabergirl 's pic reminds me of the character of the 18oz raw. I f'n love that denim, which it were still around.

Ah yeah a lil' too big for me. I've got a pair of 666s in that denim that are a little too small for me at 33, but they're still wearable. I rock em in the non-holiday eating portions of the year

When you feel the love you gotta let everybody know. This is the way.
U OK hun? Do you need to lie down? That is way too positive coming from you… [emoji38]
It’s confusing I know. While I firmly believe everything is meaningless, the meds have helped me to be much less prickly about it.

I don’t have any experience with any of the vintage denims. I think the closest would be the new slub, though. These are the same denim as Sugar Cane Okinawa, and it’s real slubby and irregular.

The Hawaii is not the same denim as the Okinawa.
The Hawaii is RHT whereas the Okinawa is LHT (or was it the other way 'round?). Also the Okinawa is darker than the Hawaii
