I would go for 19oz more tuff and stubborn..

As the 21oz softer and less stubborn

19oz , the fading is more spectacular
And they are real denim armor

…For me, definitely 19oz. [emoji119] It’s the toughest stuff there is and gives high contrast fades.

If you want something softer from the start and which will fade slower over time, than 21oz.

I had the 19oz and sold it, since it is very uncomfortable and remains stiff for a long while. To me, fades are not worth it if I'm going to be uncomfortable everytime I wear something, not wanting to wear it as much as something else that is more comfortable.

Bought the 21oz a while ago: Super comfortable from the start, does not fade as slow as one might expect and even feels lighter because it's not stiff. Oh, also 21oz is more breathable than 19oz.

I would say 19oz is my favorite denim for a jacket. It is stiff and I can see how it could be uncomfortable when compared to 21oz but I strangely like that about it.  That plus the colors are so beautiful when it fades. But that is definitely true about 21oz too!

Thanks! My jacket is just over a year old but with more like 5-6 months of wear. I just took a break for a month or so bc of my leather type III but it's back out now.

I have IH-526PJ hasn’t had a lot of wear do you think it’s worth keeping if I get a Lefty ?

Nothing beats a Lefty…I'd sell it and use that to pay for it partially.
