I think I got all the shrink out of them…. I did one six hour cold soak, one boiling soak, 30 minutes in the bucket washer, and then 30 minutes in the washer on hand wash just to be safe. The inseam shrank from 37.5 to 34.5.  seems like the leather patch is now toast. But maybe it will look cool?

I just noticed how much leg twist I got. Look where the tag I am pointing to is in correlation with where the bottom selvedge detail is. 😄

That's just like a good loomstate denim should behave and look like 😉

Yeah, it is just interesting to me. I don't recall ever having a pair twist so much. It's almost passed 45°…I also can't believe they shrunk over 3 inches in the inseam too. That's really crazy. I'll bet, on a hot summer day, if you were to get a brand new pair of these and wet them and then lay them on a hot sidewalk, you could probably watch them shrinking.  😃

Also the patch is both toast and looks beautiful now they are dry.

Also I didn't get any streaks or marbling or anything at all. I just got this weird vertical crease from when I initially folded the jeans in half to get the in bucket.

I like the way it looks in a way… but I ideally do not like when the patches get all brittle. I put several coats of boot oil on the patch even while they were soaking.

I have a bottle of Red Wing oil from the 90s I've been using for years. It works great on the newer peach colored veg tanned patches. But this patch seams quite different than the newer ones.

i think the older patches get darker than the newer ones in general

The patch in the sr was already tanned.  It’s noticeably darker than all the others.  If I recall correctly

Yeah you're 100%. I like the newer patches a lot better. Although my favorite patches are the ones they put on the lighter denim with the red lettering.

I agree.  At first they seem lesser, but the one on my TW-666N aged really well.

@kt it is in fact not allowed to post sales in the product threads, I’m sure the hammer will drop on the post. Kinda tempted if I hadn’t just added to the stable. Good luck with the sale!

                                          Think it, be it.
