Haha. I just placed the order for the quick Striker SS Wesco collab. I love that olive, but purple (insert heart smiley here)
I feel the same way. I have the Quick Striker boot. Told myself my next pair of engineers would probably be Clinch. But that purple definitely got me feeling some sort of way!

If I would fit in a clinch I might already have one. I tried hard to make them fit but no chance if I wouldn’t go custom. I would love to get a pair from Brian the bootmaker.
For now I am waiting for my custom Boss rough out and the Quick Striker. The rough out hopefully arrives soon, the quick striker sometime around Christmas is my best guess… -

…@68degreesorless I had my first Wesco's custom ordered and I waited 8 months and to be honest they fit so well that there's virtually no break in...nothing hurts, which I'm not used to in a new boot.
I've always had to suffer somewhat to end up having the perfect pair of boots in the long haul. ::)...so I'm going to give a stock boot a shot and those brown 'Mr. Lou's' you and @Oaktavia are sportin' really warms up the wallet for me!

Wesco has some of the best CXL clicking available.
I'm close to having a pair of Hendriks finished in Maryam Toscanello HH (ordered in May 2021) and have a pair of Romeo's and burgundy WF Hendriks on order (ordered december 2021 and january 2022). A pair of engineers is def on the radar but the lead times are nuts..

This is good to hear. I’d like a pair of natural CXL engineers, but have shied away from CXL over time after getting too many pairs of boots from other manufacturers where one boot of the pair ended up being excessively wrinkly.

Decided now that patina thunderdome was drawing to an end(may) I needed a new pair of wescos.
Decided to grab these from Brooklyn clothing. I had no idea wescos charcoal was so freaking nice! This is based off a hendrik upper and raptor soles. I feel like this is screaming for a 1/2 slip added, but who knows if I will get that done.
The first picture is one I took, the other one is from the shop. I didn’t have time to grab any more. But will shortly when we see some sun…
