        Hello everyone,

My name is Chris and I live in Toronto, Canada. Im a hydraulics technician by trade (for the last 16 years) and opened my own rebuild shop about 4 years go. We do our own welding and machining in house as well as the rebuild side.

I love tinkering on old motorcycles and cars. I do leather work as a hobby (motorcycle seats, bags, wallets etc).

Though I'm new to Iron Heart, and have been aware of the brand for many years, I'd yet to pull the trigger on my first item. I've been into clothes since I was 21 (36 now). Really enjoy brands like Viberg, Alden, Barbour, Filson, APC etc. Mainly boots/shoes and jackets. I didn't really invest in quality clothing items as I would find that my clothing, no matter how carful I was, would always end up with grease or oil stains. I'm not a fan of that kind of "patina"…it just looks sh*t. I don't even work in my street clothes! I wear a uniform. Yet somehow every item I own would have a smear of something petroleum based lol.

However, the other day, after many hours browsing the forum and listening to every podcast 2 or 3 times over,  I just said fu*k it and pulled the trigger on my first piece of IH gear. The IHSH-300-RED size XXL. Ive got a pair of 888s on the way as well. The fit of the shirt is exactly what I was after. At 6'1" and 220 lbs I'm a bit of a thick guy so the XXL looked to be the best option.

Ok enough from me. I look forward to being part of this tight knit community; contributing where I can.

Yup! Totally perfect fit on that shirt.

What fabric did you go with on your 888s?

                          Hi Everyone,

First a thanks for Giles to invite me into this forum.

I'm Danny, 47 years old and a denimhead for many years now.
I always use to wear the jeans from Nudie Jeans and other commercial brands, but this year I got my eyes opened when I saw a collabjeans between Benzak Denim Developers and Samurai (whitch I  now owned by the way  ;D)
And because of these Samurai jeans I discover a whole new world of Japanese brands as Oni Denim and of course Iron Heart.
I also read a lot of info from the webite from Denimhunters, and by this site I did my first purcase of the UHF shirts from Iron heart.
At this moment I got two UHF shirts and it's by far the best Flannel shirt on the market.
I'm also gathering info about the N1 deck jacket because I really love it.

I'm Living in Holland and getting my hands on a piece of Iron Heart clothing is difficult in this country, especcialy when you want something different than only the jeans.

So I'm depending on the website of Iron Heart and the shops in Germany. (is at least a two and a half hour drive for me)

But I hope to read a lot of inspiring stories on this Forum and I'm happy to be a family member of the Iron Heart community

                          Kind regards

                          Danny

How’s it going guys and gals,

I’m Lance from Tucson, AZ, USA.
Just a stop for a few years though, I’m in the military so I move around a lot.
I’m a diesel mechanic in the Air Force. Been about 10 years already.
The wife and I are actually trying to get to the UK next! Hopefully.
I’ve been into workwear for a long time but I can finally afford Iron Heart. My wife’s gonna kill me.
I’ve actually been coming on the forums since 2016 but just started posting since I’m buying more stuff now.
Little bit about me. I’m married, we have a 3 year old son. Love metal! Doom, stoner, death mostly but I like it all. 2 dobermans! I cut hair for a side gig and I detail cars. I love Lord Of the Rings!
                                    Looking forward to meeting y’all.

                                          Hello from Tennessee USA!

I have been paying attention and admiring Iron Heart clothing since around 2016.  I first was introduced to the brand by browsing motorcycle forums, Instagram accounts, and Pinterest photos.  I have always been a sucker for faded denim, but I never really had the patience to wear through the first few months of dark and not washing them.  I grew up in a household that washed everything on warm and tumble-dried everything for hours.  Often you could smell elastic in boxer waistbands cooking when you opened the dryer.  This produced very soft clothes, but very uninteresting and muted fades on all clothes.  To add insult to injury, I almost always had to buy larger than I wear because clothes shrink when put through this abuse.  I digress, but here I am.  I purchased a pair of IH-666s around December 1, followed by a pair of IH-777s around December 10.  Just last night I purchased my first UHF.  I can't believe I am already in at over $1k, but this stuff is just made so well and has such an enormous and cool fan base.  I am working on my first couple of jeans and already have my eye on a pair of 25oz IH-888s.  Hopefully I have the courage and the wherewithal to sustain the journey.  I just melt when I see photos of the fades online and I can't wait to be able to sport the same on my clothing.

                                          Cheers.
