What's your favorite Beer?

You rascal!

@Filthy:
I think they're not even trying to hide how bad alcohol is for you now.
and that's the low alco beer
-
@Sage954 I had a feeling that may be the case.
@Soleamp there is no figuring the intersections (or lack thereof) of US state booze laws, and distribution deals, and Norwegian import companies. None of it makes any sense to me.
that's for sure. states have wildly varying alcohol laws even counties and towns can be different.
Are European alcohol laws uniform for the entire country? That sounds like it might work and also explain why we don't do it here -
I always make that damn mistake… Anywho... Looking forward to those crazy new Lervig Rackhouse BA beers...
(Lervig's Bolivian, right?)
If it isn’t, it sure tastes just like Bolivian beer.

You mean the country of €urope?..
I only know that our alciehol is heavily taxed… Other than that, there are age limits (but unless you come in a diaper, no one checks your age in stores)...

So I had that one in my cart but bought this one instead

@Anesthetist how do you like it? I always have mixed experiences with The Bruery
-
Enjoying a DIPA of my own from one of my favorite local breweries"Crooked Crab".
10.5% but the flavor has a nice sweet hoppy/slightly dank bitter finish that covers the abv well

It is sweet, but almost too sweet….like drinking a beer mixed with a frappuchino. The sweetness hides the alcohol content well but is pretty cloying. It is like drinking a BOMB by Prairie but without the chilis if that makes sense.

This is solid. A crisp Helles. My all-time for the style remains Surly (per the mug) Hell though.

@scooter How was the Velvet Rush? I’ve been seeing that one but it’s been on the expensive side.
I enjoyed it. I wouldn't put it in the exceptional category. But, it was quite solid. It is what it says it is. Coffee, chocolate, vanilla were all well balanced. While, the barrel aging wasn't bad, I think it could have used a somewhat more compatible bourbon. I paid $4.50 for the single. So, it wasn't a budget breaker…
