@neph93 the color on that DIPA looks incredible, cheers
Cheers buddy.
Høgna make a lot of straight up beers but their twist tends to be sweetening the brew, literally. Their head brewer (a badass young woman), often adds sweet stuff to her brews. Honey for example and in this case a bit of muscovado sugar. Goes perfectly with the toffee and biscuit tones of an old school dipa, contrasts well with the bitterness and, I guess, created that lovely dark colour.

Couple of fresh local beers.

I'm gonna have to step my beer photo game up if I'm gonna continue in the beer thread
. Picked up some tropical IPAs today that are begging for the weekend. Maryland's beer scene isn't incredible, but occasionally I get some standouts
As a presumably New Yorker, @Sage954 , do you like Equilibrium?
-
@Joberwocky Im in Bethesda. Sapwood Cellars in Colombia is making some great beer. The Other Half location in DC has really improved recently. My local beer store gets a lot of Equilibrium. Their beers are excellent, but expensive.

@Jett129 that place looks great. Had to google it. Sadly it shut down a few years before my time. There are a few good music spots close by now.
-
@Sage954 I haven't been to Sapwood Cellars yet but it's on my to do list this summer, I've been enjoying Adroit Theory beers when I can find them and have been really satisfied with Crooked Crabs' newer offerings

I'm hitting on the double two hearted, though that evil twin bear sounds like a "responsible decision"
