Belts
-
I have some marvelous belts, some of which I think I've posted in this thread. However, I have become more and more reliant on my Colonal Littleton suspenders. To the point I rarely ever wear a belt anymore.
The Colonel"s packaging is very nice and he throws in a bit of swag such as sticker, moonpie(not pictured,, already ate it), leather coaster, and little pamphlets about his leather supply and philosophies. Oh, and a seven dollar bill!! Haha. I'm not affiliated, just very satisfied with these.
Here is my new set with some side by side shots with my old ones:
-
@daltmeyer are you just hooking them on denim belt loops?
-
@Bfd70 That's correct. They hook right to the belt loops. The Colonel also sells a version that has the old fashioned button attaching method.

Awesome thanks. I’ve wanted to get into the suspenders game for a while now. Those look nice.

Who makes this beautiful belt my good sir ? ???

sick @Matt!!

I need you help guys. Looking for a belt to pull off with the natural CXL Mr Lou. I find most brown shades difficult to pair with the natural CXL.
Any ideas/recommendations?
I prefer simple and clean looking belts.
For reference a picture of the boots paired with the tochigi belt. My inner Monk tells me that this combo somehow doesn't work.

For my money, black belts with black shoes, brown belts with brown shoes, and in this case I would agree with @Giles recommendation, perhaps forcing a bit of a patina on a natural belt with some Mustang Paste.
-
I would concur with what’s been said. Check out the veg tanned Superbeast belt at www.bweissleather.com

Thanks everybody.
@AdamJ no, I don't have any problems with black belts on denim, I regularly wear one with black engineers, but I'm with @mclaincausey belt and boot color should match.
I have to check pigeon tree and bweissleather thanks @Jett129
A natural leather might actually be the best option here, especially once it evolves its own patina.
Thanks everybody. For my inner weirdo. You would agree that the shown combo won't work?

I have 2 of his belts and they are my favourites.

The shown combo looks great. Too perfect of a combo or ensemble makes a person look uptight with their head stuck way up their ass.
