Definitely a winner… love the fit, don't think it's too baggy. You wear it perfect with the cuffs and the Chucks.

God has blessed you richly, so get down on your knees and thank him. Don’t forget the less fortunate or God will personally kick your ass. I’d love to do it for him, but I can’t be everywhere. Willie Nelson

I've been feeling the urge to try the 634 cut lately. These recent posts are only making it worse.

          634s look great @RoxRocks86 , nailed that fit 😎

Those are my principles, and if you don't like them…
          Well, I have others.

634s look really great on you @RoxRocks86 . I’ve never been drawn to this cut for some reason and tend to go for something more tapered, but if I were guaranteed a fit like yours I wouldn’t hesitate.

Thank you all for the kind feedback fellas!  😉

@henry_david It’s probably due to my lack of killer quads not filling them out. Wanna trade for a pair of jiggly jello sticks?

@Chap thank you Jens! Wasn’t sure about cuffing or not cuffing due to the hem width, but your comment has convinced me they work  🙂

@Palmer If you’re able to get your hands on a pair to try on first you should definitely go that route. I’ve seen you rock the 666 cut. These two cuts don’t deviate too far from each other and I find the top block between the two quite similar…so there’s that  😉

@jerkules same! Slim and tapered are my go to fits, but wanted more variety so started venturing to other cuts. It’s always nerve wracking not knowing how things will actually fit especially since it takes time for denim to conform and drape properly. Been wearing this pair for a few weeks and it’s been washed a few times so looks like they are beginning to take shape. On the initial try they looked like cardboard full of regrets and heartache  😃

Would like some advice on the fit. My waist measures 37 inches exactly. 634S 21 Oz Tag 36 says is 36 inch waist and Tag 38 is 38 inch, so after some measurements I decided to go with 38.

Here is how they fit on me (see images below), I notice the waist a bit lose but with a belt it's going to be ok. Right now the fit seems good. From those who own these do these stretch out significantly with wear? If Tag 36 is truly 2 inches smaller, I suspect I would not button them up.

                  Thoughts?

21oz. Denim will easily stretch over 1” in the waist, especially if put under any stress (aka being a little too tight). I think they look fine as is, not too baggy, but I expect you’ll be happier with a 36. These will stretch out a little more and might end up feeling too big.

The thighs actually feel snug but the waist is lose. For all my clothes I tend to order bigger waist so the thighs would fit, after years of squats in the gym this is normal for me. Only thing has me concerned is how much will it stretch. If it's 1 inch, Id stay with 38. If it's more like 2, I think I may need to get a 36.

I have, but all sold out unfortunately with the sale. If the waist expansion is 1 inch or so i'll probably just keep these.

I may go to Self Edge to see if they have any 36 in stock and try them on for comparison. To be honest, I am happy with the current size. The stretching is what has me concerned.

21oz has been known to stretch more than 1” when it has to. If the thighs already feel tight, I say go for it. Worst that happens they will be the most comfy pair of Baggy pants you’ve ever had!

One possible good thing is that you won't have to worry about shrinkage, and can wash and dry any way you want,as they'll stretch back out again.

@MrSmith it certainly doesn’t look like a flaw. The weft/warp pattern is consistent and there doesn’t seem to be anything torn, frayed or out of place.

It may be a product of the weaving process, but given the proximity to the hem and the fact that it looks parallel to the hem, I believe it may be a result of the hammering that the leg opening takes prior to chainstitching. This would be entirely normal. Alternatively, if you have cuffed the jeans that would also create such an effect.

Have they been hemmed, and if so, who by? Also, is anything visible on the face of the fabric?

@neph93 I have them cuffed, a decent double cuff (or a big cuff and then another cuff over that, I'm not sure what that is called), so the spot is actually about 6" up the leg.  I haven't worn them yet so it is definitely not from wear.  Also, they have not been hemmed, they are the original length.  There is nothing visible on the face which is why I wasn't sure what this was.

I actually may return these as I was on the fence with this pair anyway (I have other pairs in similar weights).  I was going to go with a pair of XHS during the sale…but I waited too long debating.
