Looks like a good fit to me. I sometimes wish I had a fit more like that in my 1600, which sometimes feels a little snug in the body.

The length is perfect about 2.5-3” below belt line and overall feels great. Just needed to double check as I have been used to buying xx in everything IH for the last 10 years! The long sleeves of these I had to go down to L!!

Thanks Mike, yes it is. I have a 14oz hoody, I would say the IHSW-45-BLK fabric is definitely more windproof, very versatile but has a more technical look… pet hair love that fabric too.

Has anyone tried to shrink a 1600 in the dryer? I was given an XXL and it is a full size too large. I am tempted to give it a soak and toss is in the dryer. Does anyone have any advice? Many thanks!!

I have machine dried my 1600 and a 1501, and there was a little shrinkage, but no more than maybe a half size?

1600 love. If you've been considering this but think it's just a SS sweatshirt, I can tell you it's not.

at 82 degrees in MN today and sunny, I wasn't overheated on a 2 mile walk. It's warmer than a thin t-shirt of course, but it's not as hot as you may think.

Looking at Self Edge the black one looks about a size smaller than the olive one, and also a couple of inches smaller than the sold out ones here. Do anybody know if they are that different in size, or it is more likely that someone messed up the measuring?

I know I should write directly, but the quality of advice given here is usually top notch.

@TeflonDon trust the charts you find on this website for the most accurate information. The crew measures 3 of each size and gets as close as possible in measurements so you aren't surprised. The last thing they want is an International (or domestic for that matter) return due to incorrect size charts.

However, to fine tune your specific shirt, call the self edge store and have them measure the specific piece. I bet they will be happy to do it for you.
