Re: Birks, love em! I wear the shit out of em in the summer. I'm kinda bummed that Birkenstock stopped making the taupe Bostons in the old school sole — it's just soft footbed now. These are the old style and I'm just gonna wear em til they fall apart. Nothing wrong with more squish in the sole, but I just prefer the classic.

Really? I've noticed more and more soft footbed models popping up. I've only ever had the OG and have always dug the way that they wear in. That sucks they stopped making that set up you've got

Yeah, weird call — guess they just weren't selling enough.
But cats are indeed such little weirdos, exactly what I love about em. Mine will find a spot and be SUPER psyched about it, will sleep there almost 24/7 for a couple weeks, then suddenly BAM, done with it. It's like "nah that's some old shit." I always wanna buy her cute little beds etc but she's just love em and leave em

One of our cats likes "claiming" us by laying on top of us or on our hands so we're forced to pet her. Also, any time I go to talk to my wife or kiss her, the cat comes over and tries to get between us.

I take no joy in posting sad things here, but I believe it’s fair since she has starred and co-starred in so many of my posts and many of you had taken a liking. We made an extremely tough decision today. My best friend Firefly is gone, and our hearts are hurting badly in the Baker house. We know She’s with Nightshade now, but losing the companionship of a horse is a pain that’s hard to describe.
Goodbye to our palomino princess.

@jordanscollected Very sorry to hear. Losing pets is hard, and although I've never owned a horse nor interacted with many, they seem somehow different and I can see the loss being different as well so I think I know what you are saying even if I can't relate.
@dinobarnesberlin Wodka reminds me of our old family dog when I was growing up, Jody, who was a mixed spaniel mutt (probably some setter as well). I think hunting dogs in general and bird dogs in particular are big sweeties by nature, gentle and eager to please.
