Went fishing today to a fairly remote bit of our coastline.  We found this whilst poking around.  Had no idea that it was there, had to Google it when we got home…

I took the opportunity to go and suss out the fishing possibilities at Chapman's Pool in Dorset, today.  It looks amazing on Google Earth, but I wanted to see it for myself and work out how best to approach it etc etc.  Of course, I took a rod, but did not fish much; I was on my own, there is no cellular signal, very few people, and ample opportunities for me to get into trouble. It is stunningly beautiful and I think later in the season will fish very well for Bass….

On the way went past Corfe Castle...

No prizes for guessing why this is called the Jurassic Coast…

It is extraordinarily pretty.  It's a bit of a hike and a climb to get to it, which rules out 99.9% of the population, which as far as I am concerned, is great…
