All 5 core cuts (555, 634, 666, 777 7 888) will be released at some point or other in the UHR, the new raw, the slubby and the 21 selvedge superblack - and there is always the chance of a "bonus cut"…..

Listened to @Alex podcast yesterday, and I believe he said that all the core cuts will get the UHR treatment… wouldn’t be the first time I got confused though.

I think when @Giles said “old cuts” above, he was just referring to the ones that’d previously been made in UHR, as in they’d sample the newly available cuts (and maybe the old ones too). I also could be wrong! Haha

Exactly.  We have to sample the cuts we have not done in UHR before.  For safety's sake, we will probably choose to sample the cuts we have previously done in UHR (that is what I meant by "old cuts")…Not very clear I grant you, but I knew exactly what I meant

I've been fantasizing about paying at least $1000 for a sample pair of size 38 UHR overalls with zinc buttons these days. Ever since listening to Alex's podcast and hearing him talk about the cost of a sample….

Edit: and five grand and a testicle and a kidney for that XHS full-length alpaca lined deck coat.

As some of you will know, we have been having an ongoing issue with buttonholes on our 12oz denim work shirts. So we have decided to replace the buttonholed versions with snappered versions.  To allay any fears, we have had zero defects in the last batch of buttoned 12oz denim work shirts, but we have to insert a piece of fabric inside the shirt placket to make the buttonholes structurally sound, and we don't like doing that.

So here we go:

I'm thinking 4 months or so.  We need to get retailer orders in and then submit them for production.  But we have an awful lot of stuff before these in the queue in this particular factory….
