IHTL-1700 - Extra Heavy Cotton Knit Crew Neck Thermal Sweater
-
@Filthy:
You will be blown away by how heavy and thick the thing is. It is awesome.
@Filthy yes, you were 100% right. I‘m completely blown away by how heavy, comfortable and well fitted this thing is. I‘ll probably never get out of it again
Reminds me of the feeling I had when wearing my 21OZ 888s for the first time.
Shoutout also to the IHUK crew! The whole “buying experience” was awesome from start to finish. Much appreciated, @Giles

Looks awesome on you! I hope you enjoy it in good health and it serves you well for many years.

-
Yeah it's like one I had from the 80s but on hardcore steroids
-
@vaquero357 Looks awesome on you
Both the Thermal and the Ring!
-
@vaquero357 Like the shirt,ring and especially the Stooges posters. Huge fan. Got to see the original band a few times even on a double bill with the MC5. Like the Ron Ashton version better than the James Williamson.
-
…thanks all!
...@Jett129 saw 'Destroy All Monsters'( Ron Asheton and Niagra ) in 78'-79' at Jay's Longhorn in MPLS! Underage - fake ID! Love Iggy and I might have to differ with you, love James Williamson, favorite album 'KILL CITY'!
...old punks never die, we just have to piss a lot!
-
I think Williamson was technically a better guitar better. I just loved Ron Ashtons sound,playing a Strat through a Marshall stack,especially when he would use the Wah-Wah. My favorite is Fun House. Wish I could’ve seen Destroy All Monsters or Sonics Rendezvous. Ashton also,in my opinion,always looked cool AF.
-
…speak of the devils. :o
…Iggy Pop and James Williamson.

So is the consensus to go with the same size as one of the standard thermals or waffle Henley's? I typically go large in all IH shirting but went with medium in my waffles due to the stretchiness. Worked out great
-
Up from your shirt size? A large shirt in nearly any shirt I've gotten from IH is a pretty trim fit

Thanks for the input @sabergirl these things look killer

I agree with Ann.
I would especially consider length, and how you want to wear them. The sizing has stabilized after the first run and they do not stretch like the standard waffles.
Based on current measurements I would go for large to wear alone and XL to put a tee under. I’m a small XL or a big L in shirts and can’t tolerate anything too baggy.
