I'd like to create a WTB thread so I can track down a pre-side seam XL Iron Heart t-shirt.

Does anyone have any idea when the sizes of the shirts changed and when the XL t-shirts began to have side seams?

My only IH t-shirt (from 2013) is an XL and doesn't have side seams and measures about 47 pit-to-pit.

I'd love to find another. Because of my "personal idiosyncrasies" wearing a t-shirt with side seams is like almost torture. I can't stand it.

Do the 7.5oz XL’s have side seams? I thought it was only the newer 6.5oz fabric used on the 1610’s and their variants @Filthy ?

I shouldn't be surprised that you knew this. But it amazes me how much you know about Iron Heart. It appears as though you are correct. But unfortunately the ones with the "old town body" are all sold in XL. Maybe someone will read this and want to sell me theirs?  Or maybe Mr. Padmore can help a bro out?

It amazes me sometimes too. I'm a dunce most of the time but for some reason details about IH and 80's post punk lyrics stick in my head  :D. Glad I could help.

Hey all,

I have an Iron to the Bone patch coming with my next order. My question is to forum members who have iron on patches:

Do these iron on easily with an iron? Or do you sew through them onto fabric? I would imagine sewing a patch through heavyweight fabric would be difficult…

Oh whoops I must have saw the word Iron and associated it with iron on  no worries though. Do people typically sew them onto their gear then?

Maybe not so much a question as a suggestion, I would really like the For sale tread to be separated between the US and the EU. Customs aside, the shipping cost is usually the biggest deal breaker for most and since most people here aren’t to keep on shipping across seas anyway, this would make it a lot easier when browsing the listings. Also, size mentions in the topic description would be a huge help

Seems like me and you are thinking along the same lines. I’ve had the patch for months but have been wearing the jacket almost daily so haven’t been ready to give it over to the seamstress yet [emoji2369]
