Thx @RoxRocks86 I guess I am a bit nerdy with that cooking thing… if I see something I would like to cook, I try to make it as good as possible... any Hawaiian recipes I need to give a try?

As an idea of what Hawaiian food is, I automatically think of poke, lau lau, and kalua pig. Unfortunately, I don't cook, but will describe it & post some pics/links to vids.
Poke - basically sashimi grade ahi tuna steaks (or other raw fish) cut into cubes. Afaik traditional Hawaiian poke was seasoned with Hawaiian salt, roasted kukui nut, & limu (seaweed/algea)…before Asian ingredients were introduced.
Lau Lau - In a nutshell it's pork & fish wrapped in taro leaves then steamed.
Video is a bit lengthy, but she does a good job at explaining the tradition and background of it while making it.Kalua pig - it's a whole pig cooked underground. Since ain't nobody got time for digging holes in the ground to hide dead bodies, pork shoulder or butt is usually cooked in a slow cooker with salt & liquid hickory smoke.

That’s awesome! You should def try it. Lots of variety & ways to flavor it so you can’t go wrong! Not like you’d mess up a recipe to inedible means

Frito pie today
I use yellow sweet corn instead of beans. I don't care for beans.

I strongly recommend this Chile Crisp world of flavors pack by Oomame. It’s spendy at $32, but damn it elevates food with a punch of flavor.
