Ok, great. So in terms of fades etc it should be pretty different.
Different in many ways. Texture, weight, drape, fade, weave. Everything except the colour really and even that isn’t 100% the same.

Welp. Had to size up on this one. The sleeves and a lot of other things were too small. Here’s the new one and last one! If you need a XXXL, why haven’t you dm-ed me!?

I think I need to go XL on this instead of Large, but am on the fence. My only other IH type III's are cord and whipcord so kinda apples to oranges vs this stout 19oz denim.

This one runs small in my opinion. I am normally a xxl and the sleeves were too small and other measurements were too small as well. I take a xxl in most of the other type 3s, too. Anyway, I’ll let The Godfather (@neph93) take it from here.

Ha! @Dishelveled @Paul9221 @Wlemon it is pretty slim in all horizontal measurements, but quite long in the body. If you are wide over the shoulders and chest you need to size up.
Kevin, I’d say it would be best on you in your normal size, but I know you are an advanced level Layer Boss so you may need want to size up for that. The good news is that the layering mitigates the extra length.

Yeah I need this in my life
I'm usually a large ish in IH type III but will go for XL ….actually the more I look at the numbers they measure spot on for me ..like I need another piece of clothing to hide from my significant other

We never give one another a hard time about our purchases. She has new skincare, cosmetics, and home goods, almost daily. I get mostly clothes. As long as we’re still meeting our obligations, everyone is live and let live, around here. (Yes, I’m super lucky. But, we knew this already.)

Just got mine the other day. By far my favorite IH item to date and as usual the crew was exceedingly helpful in getting the right fit. I’ve been waiting for what seems like an eternity for it to restock. Glad I pulled the trigger!

This is a size 44” and it’s trim but fits like my other size 42” shown below.
I am 5’11, 210lbs. I wear my type III’s snug. -

That makes sense that you sized up with the IH-526Lod. I'm a Large in the IH-526PJ so I think I'll be an XL in this jacket. I've been studying the measurements closely and I'm pretty sure that's the right size for me. I'm 5'10" and 175lb.
