This question must have been addressed previously, but I haven't been able to find the answer and can't help wondering: what exactly is the treatment that the 21 oz denim receives to delay fading? And is this an IH-specific process, or is it more commonly used in the industry?

Came across these photos in the r/rawdenim Reddit page. OP stated it is the 21oz flagship denim, 7 years old. Anyone else on here have IH that is this shredded and light in color?

@Giles had a pair of IH-634S in 21oz that are that kind of colour. They used to hang on the wall at SENY, maybe they still do. I think he has an early version of the type III in that kind of state too.
