      Doh!

I'm now not sure I understand my own question. I knew it was destined for somewhere else, like perhaps the bin 🙂

@GC No problem! You weren't to know otherwise man! I too, want to see the heavy denim CPO back in action!

@Jett129 Personally, I would say anything heavier than 19oz is too heavy for jacket territory.

My 526Lod at 19oz, sometimes pisses me off when I am wearing it. 16-18oz would be my optimal weight if it was possible. I have the 555S-16 jeans, would have been interesting to see a CPO cut out of that IMO.

I've always really wanted something that was not that heavy, but still gnarly…..

@AdamJ I Tend to agree with you as I ended up selling my Lefty/OD jacket because I couldn’t find the right temperature range where I was comfortable wearing it. I have a 16.5OZ jean jacket which I can pretty much wear anytime as a stand alone or under another jacket as a layer. The Heavyweight CPO has been such an IH staple that I thought they wanted to always have one in the repertoire, hence the search for an appropriate denim. You know if they made an XHS/CPO a few of us would loose our minds.

.      And the previous incarnation of the 177/178 definitely checked those boxes.

If the IH-526Lod fits me perfectly in XXL, would you all recommend the same size in ISH-178?  The ISH-177?  Trying to decide between XL and XXL.  I'm 6'2, 190 lbs.

                    Thanks so much!

Very hard to say, jackets aren’t shirts, so it is a bit like comparing apples an oranges. It also depends how you wear your jacket and how you would like to wear your shirt. If you have any comparable shirts I would measure those to get a baseline.

I can say this: I have the IHSH-178 in XL and it fits very well over a tee or henley. I have worn the IH-526L-OD tour jacket in XXL and it was big enough on me that I could wear it over a UHF or hoodie. If I wanted one to wear over a single layer I would size down to XL.

Thanks!  Feels a little floppy and weird, but I do think it looks good.

I saw on the SS21 release date page that a IHSH-293 is coming. Is that the 178 replacement?
