@neph93 I just read an article that in part of Alaska, the sun is setting for the winter until Mid January. When does it set for you and is it perma darkness or just extremely low in the horizon? Do you guys use lights to help regulate circadian rhythms?
Just curious.

@ROman - such a bloody shame, but rest assured we will come next year, or as soon as we can. You don't get rid of us that easily! Missing you x x x x x x
Missing you both as well. Also, we were going to spend Christmas in the UK this year. Fat chance of that as well. Best wishes. xxxxxx

The sun has effectively gone here. Won’t be visible again until late January at the earliest.
If you look in an almanac then it will give the specific dates when the no longer makes it over the horizon. Where I live that is from early December to the middle of January.
In practice you can expand on that, depending on the physical geography of where you live and the weather. I haven’t seen the sun for a week for example, because:
A. It has been pissing it down.
B. The sun’s axis from east to west at this time of year is so low that it is hidden by the southerly mountain range where I live. Some people use specially designed UV lamps at home and at work. Most people go the other way and just make their homes and working spaces as cosy and comfortable as possible, lots of candlelight, rugs, slippers and snacks. And beer. A shit ton of beer.

My 633-18 have the same issue. You can put some loops in the edge of the hole, but as long as the part where it’s being pulled have threads still together, it shouldn’t pull through.

I have jeans that have done that, or had it from the start, and lived a long glorious life. You could send a pic to shop@ironheart.co.uk though Chesson is good at assessing potential problems and their fixes.

My 6 year old XHS did that after about a week. I did nothing to it, gave the jeans years worth of shit and it never really got any worse. I know that is not a particularly satisfactory answer, but it seems to be something that happens to the 25oz denim, that cant be detected in QC…..

Thanks for the replies everyone. I guess I'll just keep wearing them and monitor the situation.
