Hahaha @Appfaff - actually it doesn't!  It's designed with two cubes with the right combination of numbers between the 12 faces to count down from 1st December.  46 happened to work, 45 doesn't - so I've re-set it to 25 and will wait patiently till 1st December! 

As Giles has already pointed out in this thread, I am a very patient woman… most of the time
