I thought your response about making “that denim” was in response to the 21oz black selvage.

So reactive dyed is non fading, right? So just the weft would fade, which would be pretty much unnoticeable? If so, I can live with the patch (I can just order an extra black one from the 9666Z, no?) and 25oz vs 21oz I’m fine either way.

I can see caps being a tricky proposition. IHUK would have to figure out demand and then there's the issue of materials, country of origin and style. A cord cap seems obvious, but then again, it may not be. Would the cap be embroidered or have a patch sewn on? A duck trucker cap would look cool and could just have the red W embroidered somewhere off to the side of the crown. Or, you could do a duck trucker with that cool looking duck graphic you guys use for the sticker. So many possibilities but I would understand if it wasn't viable

@Steve A duck canvas or waxed duck canvas trucker would be amazing! Stick a leather strap and brass clasp on it and you have a winner imo.

So these will fade to a grey/white similar to the 21oz SBG or no? I'm new to black pantalones.

Not that I decide, but I’m not sure there is a market for that. A jacket run has to be at least 60 items to make it worthwhile and selling enough may be tough. Of course, you could go old school and buy a black type III vest to go over an indigo type III jacket.
