Iron Heart Products - What do you think we should make?

IH generally make their denim from first principles so that would mean a large amount of green cast denim would need to be made. Far more than would be used in a run of jackets. So probably a non-starter. How do you feel about that design of jacket?
I like the design of that jacket! It looks simple and stylish. Given the fact that it has very less stitching involved when compared to the IH-526-LV2, I guess it should also be easy to manufacture or?
It does not have to be a green cast, but the design of that Jacket looks cool to me! What do you think?

It isn’t really to my tastes… I find it a strange mix of heritage and workwear elements. Neither a trucker, nor a chore coat, it’s design dna is all over the place. There is a bit of old Levi’s here, old Lee there.
IH gear tends to have a fairly clear starting point design-wise with modifications and updates that don’t stray massively from the original blueprint.
But vive la difference!

So my 238 has turned into my house coat. And all I can think is “ this thing needs pockets. A UHF CPO would be great. I know this has been talked about before.

Thanks for posting the link. Unfortunately the measurements never worked out for me on that one. Selfedge had them in their warehouse for a while and I think they even made it to the IH Outlet.
Facts. I had the maroon one and ended up selling it. Not that I didn't like it but maroons and reds are always tricky colors for my skin tone. It was a very nice fabric though which probably goes without saying.

Superblack selvage? Well that’s easy. Make it in the 666 and 777 cut with button fly, black “W”, black patch, and black stitching, and take my money. Problem solved.

I thought your response about making “that denim” was in response to the 21oz black selvage.
So reactive dyed is non fading, right? So just the weft would fade, which would be pretty much unnoticeable? If so, I can live with the patch (I can just order an extra black one from the 9666Z, no?) and 25oz vs 21oz I’m fine either way.
