We are trying to get this done on a lot of cut and sewn.

Here's the first - this was easy because they are western only and we ordered shitloads…

We aim to do it with more T's and also sweatshirts, but some things just take a lot of time when dealing with the Japanese.  We first talked to Haraki about this over a year ago....

Now if we could just get the sleeves slimmed down…

Happened to come across a Vintage Levis Type II that had the sleeeves taken off,and was being worn as a vest. I thought that’s a cool idea. It was the sleeve length that kept me out of the most recent iterations.

            I've asked for a Type I and/or Type II vest a few times…

I guess since those jacket styles are less popular, combined with vests being less popular, makes it a no-go for now at least

I,pretty much, figured the same thing but after seeing it in the flesh,so to speak, decided to roll the dice and post. I guess I’d have to buy a Type II and cut the sleeves off. Selfedge has an IH Black Type II coming this Spring. Hope it works for me.

The Fine Creek Leathers vests are what sold me on the idea…

An SBG or duck offering in that similar style would be GREAT

Amen to longer tees and sweatshirts! This is the one hole in my wardrobe that is not able to be filled with ironheart—and length is the primary reason

There is opportunity for some seriously innappropriate innuendo lurking in that last sentence… I’m glad i’ve matured to the point where I don’t have to point it out.

Also, has to be one point of dissent... I love the shorter length on IH stuff. I hope it isn’t totally eliminated.

To be clear, a regular tee that fades out to grey in the style of old metal/rock tees? I bloody love that idea.

Exactly! And I think the pocket gives more opportunity for the fades to look cool. (I generally don't find pockets on tees terribly useful).

I’d be totally down for that. Pocket is fine too. I quite like IH branding/graphics as well and part of the attraction with the old school band merch is the way the print ages or contrasts with the aging fabric, so printed versions would appeal (although I think I’m in the minority there…).
