That would be cool, but I don't think Sam Jackson would spend all that time in make-up.  😃

I’m sure he spent a lot of time in makeup for his role in Django [emoji848]

Re-watched Jackie Brown for the first time in about 10 years. I do love Tarantino and that is not only his most underrated film, it may be one of his absolute best.

Agreed. I think the long running success of Pulp Fiction somewhat overshadowed it's release. I often wondered if it would've done better, had it been released a bit later.

Reservoir Dogs will likely always be my sentimental favorite. It was quite impressive how well QT did with his first feature film. To this day, every time I hear "Stuck In The Middle With You", I can't help but do the Mr. Blonde shuffle.

** It will likely never happen. But I'd love to see him make Natural Born Killers as he originally intended. It was a shame he had to sell the story. Although, I am a fan of Stone's version.

                      1. Pulp Fiction - My favourite movie on ANY list, everything in that film is perfect.
                      2. Jackie Brown - underrated
                      3. From Dusk to Dawn - Did not expect the twist half way through the film

Come on guys, there should be more Pulp F in the top 3!!!

Haven't seen 'Once upon…' yet, but I think that might get into my top 3!

"Pulp Fiction" would definitely be my #1. I still remember seeing it in the theater. Love "Reservoir Dogs" too.

He's made plenty of enjoyable films but I am not sure how I'd pick #3 and haven't seen many of his more recent ones.

I struggle to find films I want to watch, but my wife has not seen some classics, so we've been going back and watching older (but not black and white old, unfortunately that bores her) films. We started with "Godfather I & II," and "Apocalypse Now" and "The Conversation" will round out our initial Coppola run. I would love to do Kubrick next, but unfortunately there are problems there in terms of my wife's preferences–despite her reservations, I think she could handle "The Shining" and may be surprised to like "2001," but would hate "Clockwork" and we run into the black and white issue in the one I'd most like to screen with her, "Strangelove."

We also have ones we've seen but have re-watched, like "Big Trouble in Little China."

I've really enjoyed watching these older films and will be trying to change her view of black and while films in the days ahead.

                        Think it, be it.

Watched the Joker movie… It was fine.

There were elements that I liked (mostly the acting), but the storyline was a bit weak. Basically, a compelling performance by Joaquin Phoenix but a predictable script. It's obviously based on a comic book but quite loosely at that... So much so that it seems a bit forced when certain characters or action beats are mentioned/done.

Saw Ford vs Ferrari tonight and thoroughly enjoyed it. Chemistry between Matt Damon And Christian Bale is just perfect. Lot of fun exciting, and the fact that I had been to Ferrari, this past summer, where they talked about this rivalry, made it especially interesting for me. Wife enjoyed it as well.
