"Pulp Fiction" would definitely be my #1. I still remember seeing it in the theater. Love "Reservoir Dogs" too.

He's made plenty of enjoyable films but I am not sure how I'd pick #3 and haven't seen many of his more recent ones.

I struggle to find films I want to watch, but my wife has not seen some classics, so we've been going back and watching older (but not black and white old, unfortunately that bores her) films. We started with "Godfather I & II," and "Apocalypse Now" and "The Conversation" will round out our initial Coppola run. I would love to do Kubrick next, but unfortunately there are problems there in terms of my wife's preferences–despite her reservations, I think she could handle "The Shining" and may be surprised to like "2001," but would hate "Clockwork" and we run into the black and white issue in the one I'd most like to screen with her, "Strangelove."

We also have ones we've seen but have re-watched, like "Big Trouble in Little China."

I've really enjoyed watching these older films and will be trying to change her view of black and while films in the days ahead.

    Think it, be it.

Watched the Joker movie… It was fine.

There were elements that I liked (mostly the acting), but the storyline was a bit weak. Basically, a compelling performance by Joaquin Phoenix but a predictable script. It's obviously based on a comic book but quite loosely at that... So much so that it seems a bit forced when certain characters or action beats are mentioned/done.

Saw Ford vs Ferrari tonight and thoroughly enjoyed it. Chemistry between Matt Damon And Christian Bale is just perfect. Lot of fun exciting, and the fact that I had been to Ferrari, this past summer, where they talked about this rivalry, made it especially interesting for me. Wife enjoyed it as well.

The Lighthouse…I liked it. Could have used a nautical glossary

            Dr. Sleep-Liked that too.

American Woman… Just incredible, Oscar worthy. Every performance is great, Sienna Miller is exceptional, and she's not an actor I would have rated. Beforehand.

Not the biggest Bruce fan,but very much enjoyed Blinded by The Light. Curious if @Max Power has seen it.

@Jett129 I only know the trailer and also haven't seen western stars as I can't go out much with our daughter. But I'll try to get it in the aftermarket

Saw Frozen 2 last night. Julie and I thought it was ok, but the songs were unnecessary. My daughter thought it was better than the first, and my mother in law said it was, "very good. I only fell asleep a few times."

                              So mixed reviews, I guess.

I always thought that of all Disney songs. I suppose you just have to like them for what they are. On the whole, I like them better than the first soundtrack, and considering I have to listen to the soundtrack at least once a day, that is a nice break. I haven't actually seen the movie yet, but my wife loved it. My daughter wasn't too sold on the actual movie, but, as I mentioned, loves the songs.

My son was going on the other day about how much Frozen sucks. I’ve never seen it so I suspect it has to do with it being aimed at a female audience [emoji848]

I liked Frozen.  It wasn't the standard Disney fairy tale, which was nice.  The sequel made some strange storyline choices that didn't make a lot of sense

I thought Doctor Sleep was pretty great. Hard to watch in a couple of spots (I guess I’m a bit squeamish watching kids get tortured to death) but all in all I’d recommend it.

I re-watched DEADPOOL… Now convinced it's probably the best movie ever made and no I don't care how stupid that sounds...

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna re-watch ONCE UPON A DEADPOOL...
