            Looks great @twin.

I’m in south west Norway and eating a traditional, working class meal, «Ball», short for «potetball» or «raspeballer». It’s basically bigass dumplings with salted lamb, bacon, sausage, potato and turnip. And a some extra bacon fat for good measure. The drink of choice (not my personal choice) is soured milk.

Wish I’d rememberd to snap that breakfast platter from the cafe on the High Street. I was quite pleased that you were impressed by it’s size given that Americans are used to big plates of food.

I thought the same thing, as I posted the ones I had.

Where to eat in London? We'll be 4 adults + 3 kids. Some of us need non pork / ofall options. We're open to semi fancy (but kid friendly). Definitely want at least 1 fish & chips and 1 delicious Indian place. We'll be there from Dec 26th (Boxing day?) to the 29th… We're staying in Notting Hill. We'll move around for the right spot, but reasonably central is best. Thank you!

One of my simplest pleasures which I have had any time in Paris is a Tarte Fine at Le Castiglione, Corner of Rue Saint-Honore' and Rue Castiglione. It's simply a Sweet French Pastry, thin sliced apples, brown sugar, broiled and served with vanilla ice cream.
