We have a short-sleeved lightweight linen/cotton chambray and a short-sleeved rayon bowling shirt planned for next SS.  Nothing else at the moment…

On the way to work I had the weird idea of wanting an IH Type III vest made of natural leather (horse maybe)? Black would do as well.

As the weather grows colder in the North, I'm reminded of the IHJ-30 I used to have.  Really liked the combination of brown duck with the green Primaloft, but I parted ways with the jacket as I missed having a zipper to really keep the warmth in.

Which got me thinking, has there been any other iteration of the material combo?  Would a remake in say, a deck jacket or something else versatile be a possibility?

Hm, just thinking that a deck jacket might not work due to the collar, but maybe then some other utilitarian design?

I thought I remembered talk of a red chambray western akin to the 16 a while back. Am I wrong, or is there any word on this?

Speaking of vests, how about whipcord type III vest?

Or, a 14oz or 21oz type III vest with khaki cord collar? Or overdyed type III vest (which I’m sure has been mentioned before).
