Iron Heart Products - What do you think we should make?

I’ve been looking and failing to see a nice Mexican blanket flannel. An IH one would be almost an instacop for me.

Looking outside at all the spring rain, and I'm not sure if this has ever been made at IH, but maybe an IH "oily" type 3? I know there are many waxed type 3s in the market by other brands, but I've never seen an oily one.
IH have done paraffin coated denim and I think duck in the past. Only as jeans but never say never. I think it is a great idea and I’d have to have one.

Can confirm paraffin coated duck, they made them in duck and black in the 634 cut and I have and love both.

@mclaincausey how do you like them? When I have waxed duck myself, I found it to be a laborious project and I had to rewax each year or so. I have never bought something "pre-waxed." Curious to see how that would hold up.

I have not washed or treated either yet but they stay super stiff for a long time. They do perform better in rain than untreated duck but clearly can still soak through in a deluge. Overall, could take or leave the finishing and will probably just let nature take its course when washing cycles start, not renewing the paraffin as it erodes. I expect the breaking in to begin in earnest then.

a chino in the 14 oz indigo x black or black x black denim would be pretty cool.

Considering how well the shorts just sold…..
Maybe a run of these in the light weight ripstop from last years CPO's [emoji2369] indigo or olive would be killer[emoji41][emoji41]

I would do some weird shit for a pair of wabash shorts… that didn’t involve me chopping a pair
Of pants. -
@Matty123 why not chop em, or have IH do it? Several of us have the painter's Wabash pants chopped and they're terrific!

i'd like to see more shorts, just not more cargo shorts as i'm not a fan at all.

There has been recent mention of an upcoming OD Vest. Any chance of snaps like you did on the XHS Vest? I don’t get the impression that a high percentage of your customers ride, but for those of us that do I would think that snaps would be preferable as they would enable you to wear the vest over another garment and with the use of vest extenders the vest would stay closed/not be flapping around. I’m sure you’ll have people on both sides as far as esthetic preference is concerned. Curious if snaps are any more expensive to implement than buttons. GA vest extenders would be crazy.

I like em, but they definitely can be chick repellent
