Thank you so much! Trying to decide if I should keep it or sell it. It's going to be a hard one to let go of!

I’d keep that one for sure. But just make a promise to yourself to sell the next one no matter what.

        Maybe so. Maybe not

That's a handy spooler! I'm a sucker for anything named after bees.

Well, shit. I went a little nuts and saddle stitched an entire jacket! There are 111 hours of labor, two full sides of leather, and 125 meters of thread in this jacket. I learned so much, and I can't wait to make another. I have some custom ZeeBee buttons on the way because I couldn't bear to put some generic buttons on something like this.

It’s one of those glorious personal achievements that makes life enjoyable. Knowing you’ve attended to every conceivable detail in the proper way and there’s nothing left to be done. Something that will last decades created from so many hours of magical mindfulness. Impossible to quantify the intense effort, the preparation, the management of creative time within daily life. It’s one of those things where the final product is greater than the sum of its parts. Simply because you were willing to put in the work required. Going above and beyond like this is so rewarding. It’s hard to communicate and represent the enormous investment to others, and it’s unfair to apply market pricing to something so rare. I’m happy you made it for yourself. If you put a price on it, you’re giving someone an outrageous steal of a deal. These righteous relics are worth more than money!

Thank you so much! I'll have some fit pics soon 🙂 Oh my…. for sale? I'd probably have to charge $10k to make it worth my time, but it would be seriously custom, and made to measure. And I dare say, it might be the most durable leather jacket out there because it's all saddle-stitched. If someone extremely wealthy comes along and wants one, I'll make it happen, but for the average person, most people are much better off getting a made to measure Aero or something along those lines.
