There’s been some discussion about that. Have a look at the world tour jacket thread. If I remember correctly the received wisdom was that it went to grey/white quicker than other OD jackets.

Any thoughts on how this may fade compared to the 14oz? I'm sensing the stiffer, heavier 19oz will contrast quicker, especially given how soon @Jordonf9's seemed to fade.

I'm going back and fourth on whether i should get this jacket.

Not sure if its been asked before but can we expect similar measures to what is currently posted on the site? Or is it the usual sporadic measurements that occur because of the OD treatment?

Okay, I own a LOT of Type IIIs, but if my house were on fire and I could only carry three type-IIIs out with me, I think it would be these:

526Lod
526J-DD
2526J

The Lod fits me better than any other Type III, it's SO soft, and the color is wonderful: is it black? Is it blue? Is it grey? The DD is hard as nails but I love it because it makes me fight for every thread of fade. The 2526J, while it's not rare or anything, probably gets the most compliments and looks amazing with indigo denim.

Well if you're house was on fire and I was there with you I would run in and grab your IH-526-ODG cause you would be crazy to leave that one in there to burn. You would thank me later I'm sure

Ha! Yes, it would be a sad day for sure. It was hard for me to choose these three. I have some rarer ones that I would feel really bad about leaving behind, the ODG being one of them, the IH-536, and the IHJ-69. The IH-536 is probably the most hard-to-find type III that I own and the 2526J is extant, so I could easily re-order that one, but I'm trying not to choose based on that because that doesn't help Brobles make his decision
