Seul, look what Kurt at Faith is making…....
That's rad, but Lord help you if a cop ever finds one of those on you. The blood smear is a nice touch, true to LAPD form.

It seems like Total Recall was actually a vision of the future? This blows my mind…

I wonder what Musk's basis for that would be. Of we are still using conventional rocketry to get off of the Earth, it's difficult to imagine prices getting that low sustainably, even with minimal luggage.

I always forget… Looks like there were more German translations than English ones though...
This Comic Style is quite popular here i guess, i´ve grown up with Asterix und Obelix, Lucky Luke and Tim und Struppi (Les aventures de Tintin) and still really like them, the characters are timeless.

I can't wait for people to start moving to Mars. Ideally they won't be coming back though.

I'm sure the massive dust storms, freezing temps and the possibility of getting sucked into the vacuum of space will make for a great tourism poster

The denim fades tho…

Yeah I also have the complete Asterix and Obelix series and all Lucky Lukes that had Morris & Goscinny working as a team…
Really cool Collection, the Asterix und Obelix movies burned into my brain, everytime i´m at some sort of governomet building i think of their journey through Rome in "Asterix erobert Rom"

I think it probably makes more sense to colonize the moon first, then use the lunar base as a base for missions to Mars.
Living on either would be pretty bad for the foreseeable future.
But speaking of the topic, I'd heartily recommend Heinlein's "The Moon is a Harsh Mistress," which is to some degree a libertarian screed disguised as a sci-fi novel about a lunar colony declaring independence from Earth. In that one, similar to places like Australia and Georgia (the one in the USA), the colony started off as a penal one. Crazy to me that anything but that circumstance would get someone to live off-planet, as long as Earth remains habitable. I suspect almost everyone who ventures to live off-planet will soon regret it.

I enthusiastically endorse Musk moving to Mars as soon as practicable.
By the time we start regular trips tp Mars, “most people in advanced economies” will have $100k in student loans, not home equity. Maybe he’ll accept those as payment?

I´d buy a 80s 911 Turbo for 100k, if everyone is on Mars if have enough Room on the Autobahn to drive it proberly
930 Turbo? You will have to add at least 30k…but on the other hand if everyone's on the Mars prices will decrease... Ever driven a 930 with 160km/h+? Not the easiest car and mind the rain...

930 Turbo, exactly. I hope for a Mars emigrant that needs to sell his car ASAP to get a decent price, thats probably the only way to ever get an old 911 at a good rate
I drove a 993 Turbo at 160+ km/h at a Country road and held on for dear life but it was hella fun
